FIFPRO CONGRESS DOWN UNDER

FIFPro Division Asia shall convene its inaugural Congress on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st October in Sydney, Australia.
FIFPro Division Asia is one of the four continental divisions of FIFPro, together with Europe, Americas and Africa. FIFPro is committed to contributing to the growth and development of football throughout Asia in accordance with the principles of dialogue and cooperation established in the Memorandum of Understanding signed by FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter and FIFPro in Barcelona in November 2006.
The Congress will showcase FIFPro Division Asia\\\'s aims and objectives including encouraging the establishment of professional footballers' associations throughout Asia and contributing to the development of Asian football in the global arena. FIFPro aims for the Congress to be the formal beginning of dialogue and cooperation involving the associations, leagues, clubs and players that will assist Asian football in becoming increasing competitive and professional.
